The Brooks Community Health Center (TBCHC)

Following the effects of the Liberian Civil War that tore communities apart, producing thousands of casualties, ravaging the local economy beyond what Liberians have been able to remedy, the country is in dire need of support, particularly in the area of healthcare. Right now, life expectancy for the average Liberian is 60-years-old, 10-years below the international average. TBCHC is a nonprofit organization formed to serve such a community, proposing to establish a health clinic within the country that provides access to low-cost comprehensive primary healthcare services to citizens of all ages.

“85% of Liberian citizens live below the international poverty line.”

Our Healthcare Clinic

Our clinic in Liberia will be equipped to service Liberians of all ages in the region, providing:

• 24-hour inpatient labor and delivery services
• Primary healthcare services
• Medical outreach services
• Rehabilitative services

The healthcare clinic will be established on the outskirts of Monrovia, encompassing a sufficient healthcare infrastructural facility that can accommodate what is expected from high-quality healthcare today. Additionally, the center will develop an outreach program (TBCHC on Wheels), to serve the patients in the rural areas of Liberia long-term.
